Universal Will Turn Into A WEREWOLF
July 7, 2011RamaNo CommentsThe Wolf Man, Universal Pictures, Werewolf

Last month, Moviehole reported that Universal was planning THE WOLFMAN reboot, with scribe Michael Tabb in charge of the script and it was uncertain at the time whether it would go straight to DVD or if it was intended to have a theatrical release.
It seems to be an original, stand-alone movie and the same website is now reporting that the project’s official title is WEREWOLF and Universal has hired Louis Morneau (Joy Ride 2, The Hitcher II) as the director. So ya, this is lookin’ more and more like a straight to DVD crapola
Casting process will begin soon
I actually enjoyed 2010′s Joe Johnston-directed THE WOLFMAN movie starring Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins but not a lot of people felt the same way. It only received 33% rating on rottentomatoes and it flopped at the box office, banking only $139 Million worldwide, didn’t even cover its budget
