UP IN THE AIR 2nd Trailer
October 1, 2009RamaNo CommentsGeorge Clooney, Jason Reitman, Up In The Air, Vera Farmiga
I’ve been hearing great reviews of this movie but I can’t help but think that this could be somewhat generic, a man obsessed with something, suddenly finds somebody who shares the same passion, something happens that forces him to take on an apprentice who eventually becomes the voice of reason and then a rude awakening, and he gets to re-evaluate himself and his decisions. But then again, I have yet to read the Walter Kim novel that this movie’s based on and now I have til December to read it.
As a frequent flyer myself, this is something I could relate to, I can’t wait to see what other clever tricks George Clooney‘s character is going to teach us about traveling smart. Paramount Pictures has released the 2nd trailer for UP IN THE AIR, via Apple, which gives you a clearer picture of what’s going on but it still ends with parts of that enlightening speech from the previous trailer, moving is living.
From Jason Reitman, the Oscar® nominated director of “Juno,” comes a comedy called “Up in the Air” starring Oscar® winner George Clooney as Ryan Bingham, a corporate hatchet man who loves his life on the road but is forced to fight for his job when his company downsizes its travel budget. He is required to spend more time at home just as he is on the cusp of a goal he’s worked toward for years: reaching five million frequent flyer miles and just after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams.
UP IN THE AIR opens December 4th, 2009
