UP IN THE AIR Is NBR’s Best Film Of 2009
December 4, 2009RamaNo CommentsCarey Mulligan, George Clooney, Jason Reitman, Morgan Freeman, The National Board Of Review, Up In The Air
I’m finally gonna see UP IN THE AIR this weekend, I can’t wait to check out what the buzz is all about. All this time, I’ve been holding back my excitement because the footage, clips, posters were just ok, to say the very least. I even think the plot is going to be generic and predictable. But we are now in fall season, meaning that not only are we going to be encountering more and more Oscar worthy movies in theaters but we’re also going to be hearing more and more of people’s selections on what they think the best movies of the year are, the best actors and on and on. National Board of Review has come up with their list and named UP IN THE AIR as Best Film Of The Year.
I’m also certain now that Jason Reitman‘s new movie is going to be one of the 10 nominations for the highest category at the upcoming Oscars. They also named Carey Mulligan as Best Actress for An Education but then split the Best Actor recognition to both Morgan Freeman for Invictus and George Clooney for Up In The Air. Their list is quite fair if you ask me, check out more after this jump…
