Director Jason Reitman‘s Telluride Festival big hit, UP IN THE AIR, (get enlightened by the trailer) starring George Clooney was initially set for release on December 4th but then it got moved earlier to November 13th and now it’s back to December 4th again.
Ropeofsilicon says UP IN THE AIR opens limited December 4th, (competing against Brothers, Everybody’s Fine, and Armored) expands December 11th (competing against Invictus And The Lovely Bones, and The Princess And the Frog) and goes nationwide on Christmas Day (competing against Sherlock Holmes, Alvin And The Chipmunks 2, The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus)

From Jason Reitman, the Oscar® nominated director of “Juno,” comes a comedy called “Up in the Air” starring Oscar® winner George Clooney as Ryan Bingham, a corporate hatchet man who loves his life on the road but is forced to fight for his job when his company downsizes its travel budget. He is required to spend more time at home just as he is on the cusp of a goal he’s worked toward for years: reaching five million frequent flyer miles and just after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams.
