Variety reported that Vera Farmiga will act alongside Aaron Eckhart in the biopic about The Beach Boys’ late great drummer/songwriter/founding member, DENNIS WILSON in Randall Miller and Jody Savin‘s THE DRUMMER
Via comingsoon, The film will tell the story of the last 6 years of Wilson’s life in which he wrote some of the finest songs of his career. Wilson drowned in 1983 in Marina Del Rey shortly after he released his solo masterpiece, PACIFIC OCEAN BLUE.
Farmiga will play Fleetwood mac singer/songwriter Christine McView. Farmiga, a classically trained pianist, is set to have a number of duets with Eckhart in the film, those of us fans of music are in for a treat.
