Lee Daniels (Precious) directed the upcoming adaptation of THE PAPERBOY (check out the teaser poster) produced by Avi Lerner who brought us The Expendables
TMZ caught this spy video from the set of THE PAPERBOY showing Daniels and Lerner in a nasty argument, this past weekend, that turned into racial accusations.
The verbal fight was about production going over the budget, you can watch the video below, some of what they said were inaudible but here’s some that you could barely hear..
Lerner said to Daniels
“You call him a racist. You know you’re racist too. You always pay attention to that.”
“I don’t want you to leave, but if you don’t apologize to me and you know you should ….”
“We paid the scuba divers a lot. Shame on you.”
Lee shouted to Lerner
“Need some money, need some money?”
The site then contacted reps for both Daniels and Lerner who said that both parties have resolved the problem and they “laughed it off”
