Via Badassdigest and Deadline, WB is acquiring the spec script HARKER by Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy. It’s a re-imagining of Bram Stoker‘s DRACULA and the director in charge of the project is Jaume Collett-Serra, the helmer of upcoming thriller Unknown starring Liam Neeson.
One of the shingles producing the project is Leonardo DiCaprio‘s Appian Way but it doesn’t meant there’s plan for him to star in the film.
The story is set in England, it’s about Jonathan Harker (a potential new franchise character), a Scotland Yard detective who is tracking Dracula.
