WB Has A GRUDGE

Don’t worry, the title of this post doesn’t suggest another Grudge movie, we’ve already had enough of that shenanigan. Hollywood Reporter said WB has picked up the pitch GRUDGE MATCH from scribe Tim Kelleher who will write the screenplay.
Produced by Billy Gerber and Mark Steven Johnson (Daredevil), the story is about “retired boxers Billy “The Kid” McGuigan and Henry “Razor” Sharp, lifelong bitter rivals who are coaxed out of retirement and into the ring for one final grudge match — 50 years after their last title fight.”
50 years after?! Damn! Can they recruit Rocky Balboa for this role? GRUDGE MATCH is described to be in the same tone as Space Cowboys.
