WB Still Hasn’t Reached A Decision About GREEN LANTERN 2
June 28, 2011RamaOne CommentGreen Lantern, Green Lantern 2, Ryan Reynolds

This past weekend, THR reported that even though GREEN LANTERN did poorly at the box office and was hated by critics and fans alike, that WB was still pursuing the franchise and was already planning the sequel. Well, looks like somebody over there spoke too soon becuase a source told THR yesterday that the decision has not been reached.
The box office result hasn’t given enough reason for a sequel.
GREEN LANTERN movie was made with a budget of over $200 million, plus marketing expense at about $100 million domestic and $75 million foreign… so ya.. that’s close to $400 Million on ONE freakin’ movie alone!
As of today, it only takes in about $120.5 Million worldwide.
GREEN LANTERN 2 script is already worked on by scribe Michael Goldenberg even before the movie hit theaters and Ryan Reynolds wanted to reprise his role as Hal Jordan. But at this point, it’s all uncertain. Reynolds will be fine anyway, I mean he’s still got DEADPOOL right?! .. right?!

So.. What Did You Think About TRON: LEGACY? Dec 17, 2010

Why this film did so poorly is beyond me. It was clearly the most visually imaginative of the superhero movies (Thor, America, etc). It had to have been the Dim witted critics (who’d of thought people actually listen). Yes, there should be a sequel, picking up right where the last one cliff hanged just like Marvels movies!
