WELCOME TO THE RILEYS Trailer. Kristen Stewart Can Act?

I haven’t seen WELCOME TO THE RILEYS yet, though it made its way through festival circuit including Sundance ’10, but the trailer has hit the web, and you can watch it using the media player below. Can Kristen Stewart act? I think that’s the million dollar question, because no one doubts the abilities of James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo. although.. when I watch Gandolfini in this trailer, I’d just expect any minute he’s going to unleash his Tony Soprano anger, pull out a gun and wack somebody. But can Kristen go toe to toe with these two great actors? Or you see her character here in this trailer as just.. well,.. if Bella was a stripper.
WELCOME TO THE RILEYS was picked up by Apparition but it has yet to have a theatrical release date but it’s expected to arrive sometime in October. The story follows a man played by the great James Gandolfini and woman, played by the great Melissa Leo who have been driven apart by grief after losing their daughter but are brought back together when they meet a troubled young woman (Stewart).
Salvation by helping out a stripper… hm..why didn’t I think of that?!…
