What The Hell Is STAR WARS: IDENTITIES?

November 15, 2011RamaOne Comment, ,

We all know that the already freakin’ rich George Lucas is theatrical re-releasing all STAR WARS movies in 3D starting with Episode 1: Phantom Menace next February but is there room for another new installment? And if you recalled there was that plan to make a STAR WARS live action series but that won’t be happening anytime soon.
So what’s the deal with the following?..

Fusible heard that Lucasfilm has registered a few new domains for.. STAR WARS: IDENTITIES

Here are the three domain names that were registered on November 7th through Corporation Service Company..

StarWarsIdentities.com
StarWarsIdentites.com
sw-id.com

Could this be a sign of a new trilogy? Episode VII, VIII, and IX perhaps?
Or is STARS WARS: IDENTITIES the title for the next STAR WARS video game? But then again, the sites were not registered by LucasArt?
Or is this the next incarnation of the animated series?
What do you think?

  1. Hey Rama.

Considering this is Lucas we’re talking about… I hope he reads your website and comments.
This may be the live action television show that he was thinking of naming as “Star Wars: Underworld” The domain is registered to LucasFilm Ltd. which is his Television/Movie production company. Then again it could be like “Blue Harvest” which later turned out to be “Return of the Jedi”

Here is my thoughts on the subject:

To be honest and as a fan, I do not know whether to be insulted or glad that George is retiring. I mean “Come on!” I know that when a person says something and changes their mind, that is “ok”
but when a man promises that he is going to do something and doesn’t keep it, that makes him lesser than he is.

You would think that he (LUCAS) would take the time to make Star Wars scripts 7,8, and 9; with the possible help of Timothy Zhan and Kevin J. Anderson, 2 great authors, who have made novel sequels for right after ROTJ. But, basically by retiring, Mr. Lucas is going to shaft his fans by saying he is going to make them and then pulling out of production?

All I can say then is… “George, pass the reigns to me.” I would love to help make them, although I would go back to when George was making them with the old creation process during the 70s and giving it 2010s flair and not overdoing it with Special Effects which he had done by revamping Episodes 4, 5, and 6 as special editions and those that he calls prequels. That is where I believe that Mr. Lucas himself had lost his creativity for his work.
