What You May Or May Not See In BREAKING DAWN Movies

The final installment in The Twilight Saga, BREAKING DAWN will come in 2 Parts, both films to be directed by Bill Condon. The first part arrives November 18th, 2011. Now, I’ve never read any of Stephenie Meyer‘s Twilight books but apparently BREAKING DAWN has more intense, graphic and gory situations than its predecessors, along the lines of “Bella losing her virginity, the graphic birth of her and Edward’s child, and her vampire transformation”, all that insane imagery. As you know, earlier last month the fans, those twi-hards demanded the movie to be rated R and that it should show every single bit without leaving anything out. But screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg said “you can do childbirth without seeing childbirth … it doesn’t mean it’s any less evocative of an experience”. Talking to PopSugar, Rosenberg explained further. The excerpt is after this jump but heads up, it contains SPOILERS...
“The childbirth — all the scenes, I feel — should be on screen. I think perhaps what I was referring to was, would we actually see Edward’s teeth through the placenta? I don’t think so. I don’t think we need to see that, and if someone needs to see that, I think they should take a look at that. [Laughs.] I believe it will be implied, but I don’t think we’ll see teeth in the placenta,”
“I think seeing Bella as a vampire and her adjusting to her powers and embracing them, those are all really fun scenes to write. Particularly when you picture Kristen Stewart playing her, and the way she’s embodied Bella as a sort of awkward, fidgety persona. When she turns into a vampire, all of that goes away.”
Whoa! Really? Edward’s teeth in the placenta? They should totally put that on the screen, I’d be laughing so hard on the floor. And how about the sex scene? This is hilarious.. finally, an enjoyable, entertaining Twilight movie. It’d be like straight up comedy.. unintentionally.
Ok, I’m all for turning BREAKING DAWNS into a hard R movie. Who’s with me?
