I met Robin Wright last month at the press day for her new film Rampart and it was one of the best days ever to me, a film fan, because as you all know, Forrest Gump is my favorite movie of all time and so to meet the woman who played Jenny, Forrest’ reason for living, was just epic. Wright also played The Princess Bride, so that made my meeting her double epic.
Wright told us press members that she’s working on the Anne Fontaine-directed adaptation of Doris Lessing‘s novel, titled THE GRANDMOTHERS, scripted by Christopher Hampton. It’s an erotic tale about two women who fall in love with each other’s teenage sons. The other woman is played by Naomi Watts.
