Who Will Be The New CONAN? Lutz? Momoa? Or A Secret Actor?

UPDATE: Rama’s SCREEN reader Amra The Lion pointed me to LatinoReview’s tweet stating that Nispel wanted Momoa, Millennium wanted Lutz but Lionsgate didn’t like either choice so the search continues

Back in November, websites that dedicate themselves to the works of Robert E. Howard and specifically the character Conan The Barbarian were saying that military man/actor actor Andrew McLaren may be the one to play the new Barbarian in CONAN reboot, to be directed by Marcus Nispel. But Deadline Hollywood, in its article about Nu Image/Millennium Films CEO Danny Dimbort and Partner Avi Lerner, said that not McLaren, but two other actors and an unnamed established actor are being considered…

The three contenders for the coveted role are..
Kellan Lutz, he plays Emmett Cullen in those Twilight movies, he didn’t get much screen time there so this might be the break of a lifetime he’s been wanting.
The next one is actor Jason Momoa who played Ronon Dex in the Stargate: Atlantis series. Obviously, different complexion, certainly the looks for CONAN that you weren’t expecting. He wouldn’t be a bad idea.
But then the website also said Millennium and partner Lionsgate are going to look at another “unnamed but better established actor” before making their final decision
I think another person that should be thrown into that ring is actor Shawn Roberts (I Love You Beth Cooper, Diary Of The Dead, Skinwalkers)
So who should it be, fellas?
