Why ARRESTED Movie Is Slow

The great filmmaker Ron Howard who was the narrator for the short-lived hilarious series ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT told MTV recently that if the fans are wondering why the development on the movie version is slower than a tortoise and taking a long-ass time, blame it on Fox’s new animated series SIT DOWN, SHUT UP which is also created by the genius Mitch Hurwitz
“Still waiting on a script,” Howard told MTV News this week. “Mitch’s television company was very successful—good for Mitch—and slowed things up a little bit for ‘Arrested Development’ fans.”
“He’s thinking about it. He’s told me some of the ideas. They’re hilarious. But he hasn’t pulled it together into a script—that I know of! Maybe he’ll see this and email me something.”
I don’t care about no stinkin’ SIT DOWN, SHUT UP. In fact that’s exactly what I’d tell that series because ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT movie should be a priority. We’ve been waiting since 2006 when the show got canceled because for some reason, not many people were watching it, low ratings.
Pardon my strong opinion on this matter, you can tell I’m a hardcore fan.
As far as casting goes, Howard doesn’t wanna say much but he makes sure nobody gets his job.
“We’ve been asked to no longer divulge anything or get into the game of who’s in, who’s out. People are going to have to see.”
“Nobody can keep me from being the narrator,” Howard said. “That’s my gig, buddy!”
