Winona Ryder, Barbara Hershey, Vincent Cassel Join BLACK SWAN

We’ve haven’t heard much about BLACK SWAN for a while. The Darren Aronofsky project that’s going to require its stars Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis to engage in an aggressive sex scene has found some additional cast members. To refresh your memory, Portman will star as a New York Ballerina named Nina who’s going to enter a competitive showdown but she may or may not be imagining her rival. Kunis will play Lily, the nemesis who may or may not be real. Strange occurrences happen and increase between the two as they prepare for a big performance.

Winona Ryder (Star Trek) is set to play Beth, Nina’s friend, a ballerina who’s been the schools’ running lead but she’s nearing the end of her career. All the dancers are aiming to take her place as Odette, the Swan Queen, in the next big ballet: Swan Lake.
Vincent Cassel (Eastern Promises) plays the director of the new stage production, the ”handsome but sinister Yevna,”
Barbara Hershey (The Portrait Of A Lady) is set to play Nina’s mother
