You’ll Get To Watch Green ARROW, THE CARRIE DIARIES, And The New BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Series On CW

It’s happening sooner than expected, all three projects that were previously said to be either in planning or development are going to CW..

Deadline reported that CW has ordered pilots for 3 new series,
ARROW, which is based on the DC Comics character GREEN ARROW. I shared with you this info last week.
ARROW will be a modern retelling of the story of Green Arrow, the pilot will be directed by David Nutter. The dude who played the character in Smallville, actor Justin Hartley, is not attached to this new series.

The other series is the adaptation of Candance Bushnell’s novel, THE CARRIE DIARIES which is a prequel to Sex And The City (check out previous info)
It chronicles Carrie Bradshaw’s coming of age story in the 1980s when she asks questions about love, sex, friendship, family and the whole shebang. Scripted by Amy Harris (Gossip Girl)

and the third series is a remake of 1980s series BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, the old original one starred Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman.

This new take, once again is a modern day romantic love story with a procedural twist, scripted by Jennifer Levin and Sherri Cooper
