We're not in Kansas anymore! We're going to be in 3D. Dorothy and the gang is coming back to theaters in 3D. Via USA TODAY, the 1939 classic adaptation of L. Frank Baum's beloved book series, THE WIZARD OF OZ will be re-released in IMAX 3D theaters for a limited one-week run starting September 30, and then on October 1 it will hit a 5-disc box set including a 3D disc for those of you who own 3D TVs Last year, WB Home Entertainment gave me THE WIZARD OF OZ blu-ray, but this coming celebration will top it by a long shot. This year, OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL arrived and will hit Blu-Ray next week, and also this year, I got to see WICKED the musical when they performed in Orange County, and so, now with this WIZARD OF OZ coming back to theaters, I guess you can say that this year has been quite the Oz year for me.
